PCE Technician

Pressure Control Equipment Technician

Due to continued growth, WellGear is seeking a skilled and motivated PCE Technician to join its expanding and dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the company’s development while contributing to a dedicated and close-knit workforce.

Role

The successful candidates’ main role will be maintaining Treating Iron & Pressure Control Equipment

This includes but is not limited to:

• Servicing/Inspection of Treating Iron including Plug Valves, Swivels, adaptors etc.
• Servicing of Surface BOP’s, Control Units and Hoses.
• Servicing Gate Valves, Chokes and Choke Manifolds
• Servicing Risers and Crossovers
• Pressure testing above items
• Completing check sheets and inspection reports
• Monitoring Stock levels of spare parts and reporting shortages
• Assisting Yard Crew during busy times with various yard duties.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. The following training is desired but not essential as full training will be offered

• Forklift Training
• PCN qualified - desirable
• UTM (Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement) NDT Inspection
